I didn’t arrive at public service through politics. I arrived through lived experience, questions, research, and a determination to understand how decisions made at City Hall affect the people who call Moreno Valley home.

MORENO VALLEY IS HOME

For more than a decade, Moreno Valley has been home. It is where I have raised my family, worked, built relationships, faced challenges, and watched our community grow and change.

I was living life like so many residents working, raising my children, paying bills, and taking care of my family. Then life gave me reasons to start asking questions.

WHEN QUESTIONS BECAME ADVOCACY

What began with questions about circumstances affecting my own family became something much bigger.

I started asking: Who is responsible?

What was promised?

What does the law and policy actually say?

And what happens when the system doesn’t work the way it should?

Those questions led to advocacy not only for myself, but for neighbors and residents throughout Moreno Valley.

FROM QUESTIONS TO PUBLIC SERVICE

I started attending meetings, speaking publicly, requesting records, reading city documents, following development projects, and learning how decisions are actually made.

That work eventually led to serving my community as a commissioner and ultimately to becoming a candidate for City Council.
